Metalized films are polymer films coated with a thin layer of metal, usually aluminium. They offer the glossy metallic appearance of an aluminium foil at a reduced weight with cost effectiveness, widely used for flexible packaging, ducting and decorative applications. TNK Group is equipped with 5 Metalizers with a total metalizing capacity of 32,200 TPA, offering varieties of Optical Densities, ranging from as low as 1.0 to High Optical Density upto 3.0. Our Metalizers are capable of metalizing PET as well as BOPP film in various thicknesses. We specialize in “Pin Hole Free” metalizing for metallic yarn. We can Metalize the film on both sides also for insulation applications.
